Bug: Subscriptions Not Syncing with Google Play Store
We’re currently investigating an issue affecting some Android subscribers where active subscriptions appear to be disconnected from the Google Play Store.
If your subscription isn’t being recognized, please follow the steps outlined in our Help Center guide: My subscription isn't recognized
Restore your subscription in the app.
Ensure that you're signed into the correct Ground News account.
If the issue persists, please reach out to us at feedback@ground.news with a copy of your Google Play Store receipt in your message, as this will help us investigate the issue further and connect you to your subscription promptly.

Bug: Automatically Signed Out On Android
We’re aware of an issue affecting some Android devices which results in the account being automatically signed out after every session. Our development team is collecting information to identify the issue. If this bug is affecting your experience, we would be happy to hear from you at feedback@ground.news.

Some readers may no longer be experiencing the problem. Our team is actively investigating this issue and a resolution is planned for the Ground News Android 4.20.0 app update.
Bug: Google Sign-In Stuck on Loading Screen
We’re aware of an issue affecting some Google accounts on the Ground News Android App, where the sign-in process gets stuck on a continuous loading/spinning symbol. Our development team has identified the cause and is actively working on a fix.
Quick Fix
If you’re unable to sign in via Google, our support team at feedback@ground.news can create a temporary password for you to access your account.
Once signed in using the "Continue with Email" option and temporary password, you can then update your password to a personalized one via the Account Page.

Bug: Saved Stories Not Working
We’re aware of an issue affecting the Saved Stories feature, where some readers are unable to access saved stories on the Ground News iOS and Android Mobile App. Our development team has identified the cause and is actively working on a fix.

Bug: Wrong Headline Appearing on Mobile Apps
We’re aware of an issue affecting the Compact Card mode on the Ground News iOS and Android Mobile App, where some readers may see a mismatch between the headline displayed on the Story Card and the main story’s headline in the Newsroom. Our development team has identified the cause and is actively working on a fix.
Quick Fix
To avoid this issue in the meantime, you can turn off Compact Card mode by following these steps:
Open the Ground News app.
Navigate to Profile.
Tap on Settings.
Locate Compact Cards and toggle the setting off.

Bug: Account Data Deletion Form Not Working
We are currently experiencing an issue with our Account Data Deletion Form, preventing some readers from successfully requesting account deletions. Our development team is aware of the issue and actively working on a fix.
