My Bias Bar Colors Are Wrong
If the colors on the Ground News bias bar look different from what you expected, it is usually because your Ground News edition or account settings are set to a different regional color scheme.
Different countries use different political color associations and the Ground News bias bar is designed to represent the political party associations, depending on your Ground News edition. In countries such as the UK, Canada, and Australia, the left-leaning parties are associated with red, and the right-leaning parties are associated with blue, so the colors are set accordingly in our UK, International, and Canadian Editions.
Follow the steps below to confirm or change your bias bar color scheme.
How to Fix the Issue
Check Your Ground News Edition (Web Readers)
The bias bar colors change depending on which Ground News edition you are currently using. To confirm or change your edition on the website:
Sign into your account on our website and select the edition drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the page
Select the edition you'd like to opt into for your account
Changing the edition for your account will update the bias bar colors depending on the region.

Change the Bias Bar Color Scheme (Mobile App Readers)
If you are using the Ground News mobile app, you can manually choose your preferred bias bar color scheme, regardless of the edition you are viewing.
To update the color scheme on the app:
Launch the Ground News app
Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right corner of the page)
Tap the Settings icon (top-right corner of the page)
Select Bias Bar Color Scheme
Choose your preferred scheme (US or International)
