This article will answer your questions about the status of your gift subscription, what to expect, and how our team might be able to help you with your recent purchase.
How will my recipient receive their gift?
Your gift code will be delivered via email. Once your purchase has been made successfully, you will also receive a confirmation email with the details of your purchase.
I was charged but I did not receive a receipt or confirmation email...
If this is the case, there might have been a typo in your email when you first checked out with the purchase. In this case, please share your receipt number with our team at feedback@ground.news so we can locate the purchase.
My recipient has yet to receive their gift code
After purchasing your gift, you will receive a confirmation email that indicates the recipient's email address. If you notice that there was an error in the email address, please send the correct address to our team at feedback@ground.news and we will resend the gift email.
Troubleshooting steps to take if the recipient email is correct but the recipient still has not received their code...
Check the spam/junk inboxes: Please let the recipient know to check their spam/junk inbox in case the gift email has mistakenly ended up there.
Check the scheduled date of your gift email: If the email is not in their junk/spam inbox, please double check the send date that you selected for the gift purchase. If you chose to send the gift immediately and it has not arrived, please contact feedback@ground.news for support. Otherwise, you might find that your scheduled send time has not yet arrived. Scheduled emails send out at 9am EST (2pm GMT). If your email has not arrived after this time, please follow up with our support team.
If you sent the gift to an incorrect email address, or your recipient accidentally deleted the gift email prior to redeeming the code...
No problem at all. Our team can re-send the email to the recipient. Please just confirm your receipt number with us, your email address, and the recipient's email address. You can include this in your outreach to our team at feedback@ground.news.
I am not confident that my discount applied to my gift purchase...
Please note that the 2024 Holiday Sale is applied to Vantage subscriptions only. If you have gifted a Pro or Premium subscription, your purchase will not be completed at a discounted rate. If you would like to redeem the discount by upgrading your purchase, please get in touch with our support team at feedback@ground.news.
