After Sending My Gift Subscription
How will my Recipient Receive their Gift?
Your gift code will be delivered via email to the email(s) that you entered in the "Recipient" line of the gifting page. Once your purchase has been made successfully, you will also receive a confirmation email sent to you with the details of your purchase, including confirmation of the scheduled send time if you chose to schedule your gift for a specific send date.
If you were charged but did not receive a receipt or confirmation email...
If this is the case, there might have been a typo in your email when you first checked out with the purchase. In this case, please share your receipt number with our team at feedback@ground.news so we can locate the purchase as quickly as possible.
Troubleshooting: My Recipient Hasn't Received their Gift
Step 1: Check the recipient information and send date
The confirmation email you receive after purchasing a subscription will indicate the recipient's email address and scheduled send date.
If your recipient has not yet received their gift, you might have scheduled it for a specific send date. Scheduled emails send out at 9am EST (2pm GMT) on the date scheduled. If your email has not arrived after this time, please follow up with our support team.
If you notice that there was an error when you entered the email address or the desired send date, please send the updated information to our team at feedback@ground.news and we will re-send the gift email (if it was already sent) or update the details of the email if it was scheduled for a later send date.
Step 2: If the recipient email and send date are correct but the recipient still cannot find their gift...
Ask them to check their spam/junk inbox. The gift email can sometimes end up marked as "spam" by some email providers.
If you chose to send the gift immediately and it has not arrived, please contact feedback@ground.news for support.
If you sent the gift to an incorrect email address, on the wrong date, or your recipient accidentally deleted the gift email prior to redeeming the code...
No problem at all. Our team can re-send the email to the recipient. Please just confirm your receipt number with us, your email address, and the recipient's email address. You can include this in your outreach to our team at feedback@ground.news.
How to Purchase a Gift Subscription

Select Your Gift Subscription Tier
You'll see the option to purchase a 1-year gift subscription for either our Pro, Premium, or Vantage plans.

Create a Ground News Account
Select your sign-in method (Standard Email + Password, Google, or Apple) and follow the prompts to create a new account.
If you already have a Ground News account, simply sign in instead by selecting the "Login" button.
Enter the Gift Recipient’s Details
Fill in the name and email address of the gift recipient(s).
Choose the date you'd like the gift email to be sent.
You can also add a personal message for the gift recipient(s).

Complete Your Purchase
Follow the checkout page to securely complete your purchase. Once complete, the gift recipient(s) will receive an instant or scheduled email with instructions on how to redeem their subscription.
You will also receive a confirmation email which includes a summary of your gift purchase.
I am not confident that my discount applied to my gift purchase...
After the purchase of 1 full-priced subscription, you can gift up to 3 additional subscriptions at 50% off after you purchase a subscription from the Ground News website. You will see this offer after you check out with your full-priced subscription.
