Exploring Podcasts and Opinions

Edited

Ground News is rolling out a brand new feature that offers alternative media formats directly on story pages. This feature offers additional perspectives beyond traditional news articles, helping you explore a broader spectrum of viewpoints.

What Is the Podcasts and Opinions Feature?

The Podcasts and Opinions section on each story page highlights relevant mentions of the news story from a wide range of programs, including podcasts, YouTube and livestream broadcasts, and TV show clips. Each mention includes available Bias, Factuality, and Ownership labels, along with a summary describing how the story was discussed. When applicable, you’ll also find a YouTube link to watch the full segment, as well as a timestamp that allows you to jump directly to the moment the story is covered.

How to Find It

  1. Visit a Story Page: Open a news story on Ground News.

  2. Look for the Podcasts and Opinions Section: Scroll down the story page to find the “Podcasts and Opinions” section.

  3. Explore Podcasts and More: Click on available podcasts and other media formats to listen or watch the full segments on their original platforms.
