Can't Sign in with Google
As of November 2024, we are aware of an issue affecting readers who attempt to log in to their Ground News account using the "Continue with Google" option on the app. Our team is actively working on a fix, which will be included in the upcoming update which will be released later this month.
In the meantime, we have identified a workaround that allows you to access your account successfully. We thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
Workaround: Logging in with Google on the App
If you're unable to log into your Ground News account using the "Continue with Google" option on the app, please follow this workaround step-by-step:
Log in on the Ground News Website (First Step)
Open a web browser and visit the Ground News Login Page.
Select "Continue with Google" as your sign-in method and log in to your account.
Log in on the Ground News App (Second Step)
After successfully logging in on the website, open the Ground News app on your Android or iOS device.
On the app's sign-in page, select "Continue with Google" to log in.
*Important: Logging in on the website first is necessary for this workaround to work on the app.
