Understanding the Bias Comparison Feature on Ground News
The Bias Comparison feature on Ground News helps readers understand how different perspectives (Left, Center, and Right) are covering a particular story. It provides a clear view of the variations in reporting across the political spectrum, allowing for a more balanced news consumption experience.
How Does the Bias Comparison Work?
After selecting a story, select the "Bias Comparison" tab just below the story headline. This will present you with a summary of how each side (Left, Center, Right) covers the same story.

When Is the Bias Comparison Available?
The Bias Comparison feature is available for stories that have enough distinct coverage across the political spectrum. If a story lacks enough unique articles from the Left, Center, or Right, the bias comparison feature may not be available.
For smaller stories with fewer sources, Ground News may only provide a general summary rather than a full bias comparison. As the story gains more media coverage, this feature might become available.
